Navigators USA mission is to:
The Navigator USA “Family Scouting” model lightens the burden of adult leadership, promotes inter-generational connections and strengthens community.
As a Navigator, I promise to do my best to create a world free of prejudice and ignorance.
To treat people of every race, creed, lifestyle and ability with dignity and respect.
To strengthen my body and improve my mind to reach my full potential.
To protect our planet and preserve our freedom.
Navigator Slogan – The more you give the more you get.
Navigator Motto – Stay on course.
Navigator Traits – Truthful, Respectful, Inclusive, Generous, Dependable, Resourceful, Cooperative.
Location for Meetings: The Secular Hub is our sponsor organization. Thank you Secular Hub! Membership at the Hub is not required, but if you aren’t a member of the Secular Hub, consider a family membership that will help support our scout troop and the secular community in general. They want to be an organization that supports and includes our secular families. Indoor meetings will be held at the Secular Hub (254 N. Knox Court Denver, CO 80219, Google Map). Outdoor meetings will take place at activity specific locations (check Secular Scouts calendar). We generally will schedule meetings every two weeks and the preferred day for most families seems to be Sunday.
Chapters function autonomously and Navigators USA has no jurisdiction over the chapter because it is a member organization. This means we can adjust our policies to suit our own troop and scout families!
For more information about the Secular Scouts troop, see our SecularScouts.org web site.
