About Our Speaker: Erika is a science communicator focusing on human evolution, evolutionary biology, and debunking pseudoscience. She received her BSA in Pre-Professional Animal Science from the University of Arkansas in 2019, her MRes in Primate Biology, Behavior, and Conservation from the University of Roehampton in 2021, and is a current fifth-year doctoral candidate in Biological Anthropology.

Erika's online presence is concentrated on YouTube, where she runs the "Gutsick Gibbon" channel, which focuses on science communication and combating pseudoscience such as creationism, spirit science, and climate change denialism.
